Introducing Renew ‘22
Dear Members,
On behalf of the Board of Directors and Management, we are thrilled to announce the launch of Renew ’22 – a capital revitalization project which includes:
Revitalization of Hollyburn’s food & beverage facilities
Upgraded and centralized youth facilities in a prime, easy to access Club location with the inclusion of an outdoor playground
Updated meeting room, relocated to the front of the facility to take advantage of the Club’s south-facing view
The expansion of both the Restaurant and Bistro patios to capitalize on the Club’s amazing views of Vancouver
Renew ’22 will elevate your Member experience and help us achieve our vision of being Canada’s premier athletic club.
HOW MEMBERS BENEFIT FROM RENEW ‘22
Increased dining capacity to meet Member demand
Two distinct dining areas; adult-only and family
Additional youth programming due to increased size of youth facilities
Increased safety and accessibility by centralizing youth space
Proactive maintenance and replacement of some of the Club’s critical physical assets
Improved Member experience
BUDGET
The Renew ’22 budget is $23.3 million and will be financed through traditional bank financing and cash-on-hand; Members will not be required to pay a capital improvement fee. The Club is debt-free and in a strong financial position to take on a capital investment > Learn more.
TENTATIVE RENOVATION TIMELINE
The tentative renovation timeline is 24 months in total. Construction will be broken into three phases to minimize Member impact and allow Members to utilize the new facilities as soon as they are completed > Learn more.
MEMBER ENGAGEMENT/VOTING
Our goal is to provide Members with all of the information needed to make an informed decision when it comes time to vote. Please join us for one of our upcoming Member Engagement Sessions:
May 18th at 7pm in the Creekside Room
May 25th at 10am online via Zoom
June 2nd at 12pm online via Zoom
June 13th at 7pm in the Creekside Room
