Renew ‘22 - January 2025 Update

We are thrilled to embark on an exciting and transformational year for Hollyburn as we move closer to the completion and opening of our brand-new food and beverage facilities!

The Renew '22 project continues to make excellent progress and remains on schedule to open in late spring 2025. As we enter the last few months of the project, we continue to expect that the total cost of Renew '22 will be approximately $23.3M for facility construction and $1.5M for furniture and equipment.


Construction: Restaurant, Member Services Lobby, Bistro & Event Space

Significant construction milestones are being achieved daily, with more than 50 tradespeople hard at work on site: Here's the latest progress:

Interior Finishes: On both levels, tiling, drywall finishing, and priming are advancing steadily.

Millwork Installation: Custom millwork is being crafted and installed.

Kitchen Equipment Installation: The Level 1 and 2 kitchens are taking shape with the installation of stainless steel work surfaces and state-of-the-art appliances.

Glazing and Doors: All glazing and patio doorways have been installed, fully enclosing the space. The areas are now conditioned as we prepare for the final interior finishing phase.

Furniture Procurement: Long lead time furniture has been secured to ensure timely delivery.


Beyond Construction: Preparing for Operations

In tandem with the physical transformation of the space, our team is diligently working to ensure operational readiness, focusing on the following areas:

Developing Training Programs and Standard Operating Procedures: We are partnering with hospitality consultants to design comprehensive programs focused on attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. These initiatives are designed to deliver a consistent level of service that meets Member expectations.

Hiring: We are actively recruiting for key roles across front-of-house and back-of-house operations, as well as leadership positions. Prior to opening, we will be hiring over 100 new employees!

Brand Development: Efforts are underway to create new, unique identities for the outlets, aligning with the vision and style of the revamped spaces.

Sourcing Soft Goods: We are thoughtfully sourcing and securing soft goods such as linens, glassware, plates, and other essentials, well in advance. Every detail counts!

Renew ‘22 has been a journey years in the making, beginning well before the membership approved the project in June 2022. Now, as we near the final stages, the excitement is undeniable. Renew ‘22 will deliver vibrant and trusted food and beverage outlets designed to become a cornerstone of the Member experience—a place to share special moments with family and friends, celebrate life’s milestones, and enjoy exceptional dining and gathering options.
