Renew ‘22 January 2024 Update

Phase I (Youth & Administration) is complete!

We are proud to report that Phase I of Renew ‘22 is complete, ahead of schedule and 14% under budget! Our new offices were completed in mid-October and our Administration staff have moved into their new home in what was previously used as the Creekside catering room on the third floor.

Moving the administration offices into the old Creekside Room gave us the opportunity to better utilize the large footprint of the old office space to create a consolidated home for The Kids Centre, which includes;

· HollyVille (Forest Room)

· Nursing Room (Cove Room)

· Kids programming & multipurpose room (Coast Room)

· Teaching kitchen and mini-scholars classroom (Mountain Room)

· Outdoor Playground

The shuffling around of all these spaces left the Club with the old footprint of our Hollyville facilities available for the future home of our catering room. The construction of the new catering room is part of Phase II, see below for more details.

Phase II (Food & Beverage) construction has begun!

We are thrilled to have shovels in the ground as Phase II of Renew ‘22 is officially underway! The temporary inconvenience during construction will be well worth it when Members are enjoying spectacular view from the new patio in the summer of 2025. During the 15 month construction window, we are making temporary accommodations wherever possible to make your time at the Club as comfortable and “normal” as possible. We sincerely thank Members for their understanding and adaptability as we undertake this substantial step toward continuous improvement for Hollyburn.

Club Access & Detours

During our year and a half construction window, certain areas of the Club will be temporarily inaccessible, and alternative routes or detours are in place. We have planned these detours carefully to ensure minimal disruption to your activities.

Main & Sports Entrances

Closed. Alternate access open, including East Entrance. Large Ice access is also available through West Lot.

Member Services

Temporary Member Services is in the North Entrance.

East Entrance

The new East Entrance from the Main Lot is open along with the Kids Centre.

Pool Changeroom Hallway

Closed. Pool & Changeroom access through exterior south door of Aquatics Centre. Temporary internal access tunnel being implemented in February.

Parking

All parking lots will remain open; however parking spots in front of courts 13-14 are closed to accommodate the construction offices and vehicles. A drop-off roundabout and additional accessible parking spaces have been added to the Main Member lot. Any additional parking lot closures or interruptions will be communicated in advance to Members via email or push notification. Please ensure you leave ample time to get to your activities.
